Household Appliance Test Equipment 3 Stations Flexing Test Apparatus For Supply Cord
Standard of Flexing Test Apparatus:
IEC 60335-1 ‘Household and similar electrical appliances – Safety – Part 1: General requirements’ clause 23.3, clause 25.14 and figure 8
Application of Flexing Test Apparatus:
IEC 60335-1 (Household appliance) section 25 require appliance provided with a supply cord to be constructed so that the supply cord is adequately protected against excessive flexing where it enters the appliance. The cord are subjected to a 20,000 flex test angle of 90° (45° on either side of the vertical), with 10N or 5N of force on the cord, and the rate of flexing is 60 per minute. The cord and its associated parts are turned through an angle of 90° after half the number of flexings, unless a flat cord is fitted.
During the test, the conductors are supplied at rated voltage and loaded with the rated current of the appliance. Current is not passed through the earthing conductor or functional earthing conductor.
Parameter of Flexing Test Apparatus:
Item Name | Parameters |
Input Power | 220V,50Hz |
Control Method | PLC control, touch screen operation |
Drive | Servo motor |
Work station | 3, synchronous control |
Flexing angle | Left 45˚, 60˚, 90˚; right 90˚, 120˚,180˚; The horizontal position or vertical position of the center point are optional; Each station has a dial for corresponding reference |
Flexing speed rate | Auto flexing speed 10~60 times/min, Manually flexing speed 0-360˚ /S , can be preset |
Test times | 0~999999 times, can be preset and displayed |
Load weights | 5N*3,10N*3 |
Specimen fixture | 3 sets of universal fixtures, the bending point can be up, down, left, right regulated. |
Action principle | Adopts to servo motor drive system, the accuracy of the swing angle and speed regulation are high |
Conduction detection | The test device is equipped with power supply sockets for the test samples, and it has a conduction detection function, if there is no current go through the test sample, the indicator light turns on, alarm occurs and the test stops, the corresponding work station records the real-time test times |
